The Dunes

Perranporth is a small town situated on the north coast of Cornwall, and is within close proximity of Truro, the county’s capital city, and Penzance, one of Cornwall’s larger towns. Once a tin mining town, Perranporth is now a seaside resort that is popular with sunbathers and surfers. The three miles of golden coast offer many exciting activities for thrill seekers; whether it be surfing, sky diving or cliff walking along the UK’s longest National Trail, the South West Coast Path. Alternatively, there is the opportunity to peruse Perranporth’s shops and restaurants (which are only a few minutes’ walk from The Dunes), enjoy a Cornish pasty and an authentic Cornish cream tea, or simply relax and take in the idyllic views on the beach. Perranporth is home to a warm, welcoming community and residents of The Dunes will never be bored with festivals such as Tunes in the Dunes and the famous Lowender Peran Folk Festival.
